Laurie Viglione is a Wardrobe Stylist, Costumer, Co-Editor of The Style Skinny blog, and a Freelance Writer. She founded Revamp Styling in 2009 to meet the wardrobe needs of media and people alike.
Laurie is represented by Click Models and J. Pervis Talent Agency where she is booked for a variety of print styling work- from editorial to catalogs. She is a member of Atlanta's 479 film union of the IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees) working as a costumer on feature films and television shows. She also works on styling projects with independent production companies and small businesses.
Viglione launched The Style Skinny blog with her partner, Kathryn Kucka, in January 2011 where the personal letters between the two friends are made public. The two fashionistas have opposing style perspectives which makes their banter a must-read. Along with writing her blog, Laurie has written for numerous online magazines and has acted as a ghost blogger for several companies.
Laurie Viglione has a strong fashion background that began in NYC where she worked for notable fashion houses. She was as an in-house publicist for Tocca, Dolce & Gabbana, and Aeffe USA for Jean-Paul Gaultier plus a Senior Account Executive for fashion designer Anna Sui.
As a fashion publicist, Viglione collaborated with celebrity stylists and editors from some of her favorite magazines- Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Glamour. She assisted in the clothing selection for a myriad of celebrities including Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lopez.
During her days at Anna Sui, she held major domestic and International accounts. Her speciality boutiques included Diavolina & Madison, ecommerce- net-a-porter.com, department stores- Saks Fifth Avenue & Bergdorf Goodman, and overseas -Joyce Hong Kong department stores.
Laurie has a B.B.A in Design Marketing from Parsons School of Design. She was chosen to study in Paris, France in 2002 at Parsons Paris. She is an active member of Fashion Group International and the Association of Image Consultants International.
